New Burial Plots

Contrary to popular belief Arnos Vale Cemetery is still open as a working cemetery and Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust unveils its phase 1 plan to develop and expand the range of cemetery services available.

40 new burial plots

Plans for phase 1 focus on Ceremonial Way and the closely surrounding area.  This is regarded as the most prestigious part of Arnos Vale Cemetery and in Victorian days gone by it was considered a privilige to be buried here, so the Charitable Trust is thrilled to announce that 40 new burial plots are now available in this location.  Plots are available now to pre-purchase as part of funeral planning or available now for immediate burial.

60 new cremation plots

The contrasting landscapes at Arnos Vale mean there is a real choice of location for the interment of ashes and Arnos Vale Cemetery can accommodate the wishes of everyone.  Phase 1 developments include the release of up to 60 new cremation plots in various locations around the cemetery.

Scattering of Ashes in the Garden of Rest

Two "Gardens of Rest" provide a peaceful and tranquil final resting place.  These places for contemplation and reflection have been further enhanced by the addition of a specially designed contemporary memorial sculpture in each garden.

Choice of Memorials

Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust has created a new memorial wall in an enclosed area next to the fully restored and impressive Spielman Centre, as well as dedicated benches, carefully placed in one of the more peaceful areas of the Cemetery.  Sponsoring a mature tree or flower bed with a memorial plaque and dedication are also options.  Finallly, the pages of remembrance are turned daily, so a beautifully hand-written inscription can be viewed on every anniversary.

Funerals and Remembrance Services

At Arnos Vale our wonderfully restored Grade 2 listed Anglican Chapel, provides a perfect setting for funerals and remembrance services.

Funeral receptions and refreshments

The Spielman Centre is just a short stroll away from the Anglican Chapel.  The light and airy modern glass atrium contrasts magnificently with the gothic style of the Spielman Centre.  Catering services are available and the fully accessible building with car parking directly outside makes it the ideal location for funeral receptions and refreshments.

Juliette Randall, Chief Executive of Arnos Vale Cemetery said "We pride ourselves on offering a personal and professional approach, working with families to tailor our services to meet their needs.  The ability to plan the funeral of a loved one and have all the facilities available on one site can create a very private and special experience and everlasting memories."
