Arnos Vale Christmas Trees

For the first time Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust sold Christmas trees from the East Lodge Gift Shop, just off the Bath Road entrance.

The trees were all superb quality, lush glossy green pins with the most beautiful shape. 

The option of pre-ordering a Christmas tree was taken by about 35 people and the remaining trees sold by word of mouth, people passing by in cars and seeing our many volunteers standing outside with the trees in a funny santa hat as well as from the local community just taking a leisurely stroll through the cemetery.

We are going to be selling the trees again next year - this time ordering a lot more of the 4' trees as demand was high for this size but we only had ten of this size delivered.  However, sizes available were 4'-5', 5'-6', 6'-6.5' and 6.5'-7.5'.

Next year will also see Arnos Vale selling Christmas wreaths, mistletoe, hand-made Christmas tree stands and holly as well as the return of these fabulous trees, again from the East Lodge shop.

If you are thinking of getting a real Christmas tree in 2012 then you can pre-order yours next year about October/November time.  A lot of the trees had been sold on pre-order this year and the trees were collected the first weekend in December.  You can guarantee your tree size and price for 2012 and relax with the knowledge that there's one less frantic search for Christmas that you don't need to do.
