CALLING ALL KNITTERS! Come along to Arnos Vale's Community Knit-in and help us turn Totterdown into a Woolly Wonderland as part of this year's Totterdown Art Trail. A group of local knitters and crocheters have formed a fun plan to decorate Arnos Vale Cemetery and Totterdown with knitting and crochet for the Front Room Art Trail on 18th-20th November 2011. We'll be making a wildlife-themed knitting and crochet trail through Arnos Vale using the trees in the cemetery for Front Room weekend and would like as many budding knitters as possible to join in the preparations at a series of community knit-ins at the cemetery! There will be free wool at all our gatherings and lots of help for beginners. If you have yarn you don't need any more - we'd love to use it!
Children (accompanied by an adult) are very welcome. If they are not keen to knit they could make pompoms or finger knitting. If you can't come for the knit-ins but would still like to join in we are very happy for people to send knitting and crochet - please drop into the East Lodge reception for the attention of Felicia Smith.
