Marvellous Medicine Family Walk

Apothecaries and doctors prescribed remedies and treatments that used weird and wonderful ingredients. Take a guided activity tour around the grounds and discover how snails, nettles and even poisons were used to cure diseases and ailments.

Learn about the wild plants that are used in medicine today.

Create a medicine bag full of wild cures to take home with you.

During the walk you will also learn about the medical men who advanced scientific knowledge and improved Bristol's health and find how they have influenced medicine today.

Warm clothing and sensible shoes are strongly recommended.

Tickets are £7 per family - includes two adults and up to three children per session and tickets can be purchased securely on-line via the Paypal link below.

You can send a cheque for the full amount of the tickets required - please also add £1.00 for P&P to the total amount. Cheques made payable to Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust. Your tickets will be posted directly to you.
