Green Woodworking - Rustic "Stick" Furniture Making

chair-green-woodworkingSunday 16th October

9:30am - 4:00pm

Woodland Compound, Arnos Vale Cemetery

This is an exciting opportunity to make a small item of rustic stick furniture using some traditional tools and techniques (as well as a few modern power tools), and sustainably grown materials from the woodlands at Arnos Vale Cemetery.

Dick Berry is a teacher of green wood-working skills and a member of the Somerset Pole-Lathe Turners Association. On this completely hands-on workshop, he will be guiding you through designing and building your own piece of rustic furniture made from materials extracted from the woods at Arnos Vale Cemetery.

All the tools and materials will be provided on this workshop along with hot drinks and a camp fire!
