| Soundwalk - An Artistic Journey |

10:00am-12:00pm FREE to participate - Places are limited Go off the beaten track, in search of the real sounds of Arnos Vale. You'll take part in an original research project to help map the acoustic ecology of Arnos Vale, using post-it notes, a tactile map and a questionnaire. Something unusual is happening at Arnos Vale on Saturday 28th May...a guided tour of the cemetery with a twist - it will be held in complete silence! Part of the wider Bristol Noise research project, this is a soundwalk, or listening tour, designed to map the acoustic soundscape of the 45-acre site and post the findings online. Felicia Smith, Public Engagement Manager at Arnos Vale Cemetery, says: "For the first time ever, we are offering a tour where the guide does not say a word! This is an exciting opportunity for visitors to try something new, but also help in some original research. We hope that the findings will tell us more about the cemetery's soundscape and what we can do to preserve the tranquility that makes Arnos Vale so special."
