Arnos Vale Cemetery are running Victorian Christmas Craft Workshops from the Spielman Centre on Monday 20th December. Suitable for children aged 6 years and upwards the workshops will last for 90 minutes from 10:00 until 11:30 or from 1:00 until 2:30. If you want that extra time to catch up on your Christmas shopping, need a little bit of "me" time to grab some peace and quiet during one of the busiest weeks of the year, or simply would like some time to be able to wrap those presents without having inquisitive eyes trying to burst through the door, then bring them to this fantastic workshop. They will enjoy themselves making three lovely Victorian Christmas decorations which they can take home with them and will also play some Victorian Parlour games with our Learning Co-ordinator Janine Marriott. The activities will all take place in the Spielman Centre which is an original Victorian Chapel just off Ceremonial Way. At only £5 per session, with all materials supplied, places are limited to 25 children per session so booking is essential.
You could save yourself even more time by stopping at our Gift Shop in the East Lodge and buy some unusual and unique Stocking fillers as well as some beautiful gift ideas for that special someone that you won't find anywhere else. We stock books, kites, puppets, friendship bracelet craft kits, wildlife items, glass angels, gift tags and growing cards (cards you can plant in the garden afterwards that grow herbs or flowers year after year), plants, Bristol Blue Glass, candles, sweets and artwork by local artists. There is something for everyone and you'll be surprised at the range of items available! There is parking available or you can drive in to drop off your child before whizzing off to grab some last minute bargains locally. Vehicular entry to Arnos Vale is just off the Bath Road entrance.
