Books of Remembrance and Lasting Tributes

treasured-memories

Grave stones are no longer the only way to create a lasting memorial to a loved one. At Arnos Vale, a suite of enduring tributes are available including entry into the new Books of Remembrance, dedicated timber bench or memorial wall plaque on the new wall of remembrance. We are also in the process of creating a new columbarium in the crypt of the  Chapel where urns of ashes can be safely placed alongside interments of past Lords Mayors.

For those who want to support nature at Arnos Vale include a wide range of birds and rare breeds of bat, we can offer the opportunity to provide a bird or bat box with plaque or the sponsorship of a mature tree with remembrance plaque.

benchesThe restored West Lodge provides the perfect setting for our Books of Remembrance where messages and personal notes can be inscribed on behalf of anyone laid to rest in Arnos Vale at any time in its history. Each entry is hand-written in beautiful script and fine inks by a professional calligrapher. If you would like to include an item in one of our books then please complete the form available here, and send it to Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust, West Lodge, Bath Road, Bristol, BS4 3EW. The cost of this service is dependent upon content. Please contact the office on 0117 9179117 for prices.
